Be True To Yourself
Be True to Yourself is a nonprofit agency providing unique team building activities to assist the homeless, elderly and children in the Greater Las Vegas area.
Our team building activities encourage teamwork and create strong interpersonal skills.
Our customized “Be True” study guide focuses on youth and how to create harmony and oneness, to promote pro-social friendships, and to reassert a sense of hope in the future by living with integrity.
We participate in several community service projects in the Las Vegas area.
Our Mission: Consists of three principles:
Improve Performance: to inspire, to motivate individuals and increase overall performance of the team in an organization, in school, and at home.
Social Responsibility: to demonstrate commitment through compassion and understanding for the betterment of the community.
Personal Responsibility: to empower youth in establishing goals and following through on commitments.

Team Building
In every workplace employees from diverse managerial and professional backgrounds talk about building the team, working as a team but few understand how to create the experience of team work or how to develop an effective team.
Belonging to a team, in the broadest sense, is a result of feeling part of something larger than yourself.
We have three outreach programs:
Look At Me – Focusing on the needs of the Homeless
In The Garden of Thy Heart – TLC (Tender Love and Care) particulary aimed towards the elderly and sick who are alone.
We are Drops – Focusing on the foster family community.
Youth
The ‘Be True” Study Guide has four distinct sections which are named Seed, Tree, Branch, and Leaf.
Be True study guide
“Be True” empowers student members to support and influence their school and community, sustain meaningful relationships with others, develop a positive self-image, and to respect their own cultural identities as well as those of others. The critical experience in this part of the program is sustaining positive student-teacher relationships through building a platform of trust.
How it Works
Every event/activity can be tailored. We work with Platinum Concierge to tailor the best event for your organization.
We accomodate group sizes between 10 – 300 and typically we come to your location or any desired location you prefer and discuss from any of the causes in Las Vegas: Youth, Homeless or Elderly and then the teambuilding event begins.
